Celery Seed is the dried fruit of Apium graveolens. The tiny greenish-brown seeds have pale ridges and a characteristic celery aroma with a bitter celery taste. It is generally grown in India and China. It is often used sparingly in pickling recipes, soups, salads and meat dishes, and pairs well with eggplant, fish, eggs, pees, potatoes, stuffing and tomatoes.
