Sliced, dried carrots are cross cut, air dried slices that are all natural and an excellent source of fiber and vitamin A. These are great to have on hand! Easily add them to soups, stews, or veggie trail mixes. They make a great snack for camping or backpacking. For use in recipes containing little or no liquid, bring them to a boil and let simmer for approximately ten minutes to re-hydrate. 1 pound of air dried carrots equals approximately 4.5 pounds of fresh, prepared carrots.
